I believe my last purchase was cooled with a NH-D15 air cooler and I wondered how the air cooler used by DS now compares. I have attached a build I came up with and was looking for any input before I pull the trigger. That's a nice build.
You don't need that much ram. Gaming uses 8gb if that but 16 gb is standard. The air cooler isn't as good as Noctua but it still is a decent pick. Just wouldn't be able to push overclock but I don't think it's necessary or what you want anyways. Air coolers are definitely less potential problems. Just to mention, the Velox has the right facing window, not the more conventional left facing. Some don't realize it and the desk setup might like one over the other. Good luck. |
