New Gaming Rig

I am looking to upgrade from my six year old a-------- with a gtx 660. 

If it is possible with my budget I am trying use a 2K monitor at high/ultra settings.  It would be awesome if someone could recommend a good 2K IPS monitor around a $400 price range.

Budget: PC - $1700 Monitor - $400 

Expectations: Game at 2K with High/Ultra settings

Usage: Gaming. Games I play include DSIII, Skyrim (modded), WoW, Diablo III.

Pretty much alot of rpg/action rpg games with the occasional from the rts and fps genre.

The Vanquish with the gtx 1070 can certainly play on a 2k monitor. You won't get ultra settings on all games, but most are no problem.    High to max is good gaming.
