So my new pc is arriving in 2 days and I'm wondering if when I get it is there anything I should do first when I get it running ? For example what anti virus should I use and what other programs would be helpful to have

After it's fired up and running I would install an AV program, setup your internet provider and load a game.

I use Norton AV because it's free with Comcast , which others will scream at me for using, but I've never had an issue.

Malwarebytes is a good program to run weekly to clean up files.

CCleaner for the same reason. You'll be surprised the size of the space it cleans.

HWMONITOR to check CPU and gpu temps.

To get the Verified Customer badge your forum email and the email you used to order have to match exactly. By exactly I mean EXACTLY, spaces, punctuation, caps, hat size, car's rated horsepower.....Hahaha.......
