If this is going to be mostly a gaming machine, you've misspent some dough that could/should go to better quality parts.
More than 16 GB of RAM is a waste for most everyone, especially for gamers, unless you do very heavy duty number crunching on the side. RAM is at a high premium right now. For your rig, we recommend the 750 W Corsair. Plenty of headroom for your draw. Spend those savings on a better board - the MSI Pro Carbon. Get a much, much better M.2 SSD with the Samsung 512 960 PRO. 5 year warranty. Corsair H110i AIO cooler. Bigger radiator, better cooling, branded part, 5 year warranty. Remember, DS branded parts only carry the DS warranty for a year. Name brands carry manufacturer warranty. I can't say for sure about the lighting. I have the free one. It's an LED strip that runs from one side to the bottom and up the other side of the window. It has over 300 modes you can select on the remote (including off). I see it's the more expensive option, and it's currently free. I like it very much, myself. The 1080 Ti will do the best job of powering a 4k monitor of any single card available right now. It will run most games at high settings, just not every one there is. Personally, I think a 4k mon is gonna be so drop-dead gorgeous, you won't see much of a difference if you have to turn down a setting or two for a better framerate. I think your over-all experience will be impressive. Here's my build: 1893671. Comes in at $3275 including Win 10 pro. Saves around $250. Hope it helps you. |
