Hasn't even processed yet and I'm staring at my inbox, waiting for anything new!

Also, I'd like to throw it out there that DSO really does have the best Customer Service I've ever seen (and I worked retail for nearly 4 years). I had some special requests in regards to payment, and Craig and a girl (I forget her name...sorry!) helped me get everything sorted out in a very timely fashion.

Still waiting for the order to be processed; Ordered Friday night, so I figure with the weekend/fourth it should go through *hopefully* today. I'm gnawing at the bit waiting for a confirmation on this thing haha.

Nice setup. I ordered my computer a while back, close to your specs and get mine delivered tomorrow! :)

My process time took 2 full business days. Ordered a Wensday night went through Friday afternoon. So yours should go through today or tomorrow, 4th of july made you wait longer! :(

The wait has officially begun! Received my Stage 1 notification a few minutes ago, and almost swallowed my tounge. I'm beyond excited...going out to hunt for a new mouse and keyboard tonight. Monitor is taken care of already, and I purchased a brand new monsterous surge protector to keep this and my other gadgets safe.


Anyone have any recommendations for speakers? Only using the integrated audio for the moment, but intend on purchasing a sound card later on.

Hah getting all the goods to go with just like I did :). Bought razor mouse and keyboard with a 23" Samsung monitor. My new DS rig is on the fedex truck is out for delivery cant wait anymore :P. Im also looking for a good set of speakers but have no idea on a really good brand.

Just bought a Razer Imperator mouse...Best Buy had it on sale for $60 (same price as the Deathadder, which is slightly slower) so I grabbed that. Didn't see a keyboard that did it for me, so I might order one off of the web tonight.


As for sound, Bose is probably the best quality, but their price tag is way too much for me. I was looking at these for now:

I've come to the realization that I forgot to change the stock case, to the one I actually want OopsOopsOops , I sent Sales a message just now, so hopefully this doesn't impede progress.

I also think there may have been a snafu with my credit account...not sure if the payment actually went through. Should I contact Sales via phone tomorrow? or mail Alex?

You're right. I haven't done a transaction of this value prior, so I never had this issue. Also forgot that the bank does a hold on the money for a period of time. Guess I just got paranoid haha.

Ya I had to do something like this a while ago, now I avoid it if I can, takes too much time and etc, but in this case the end results are well worth it, for DS system, if I had to, I'm sure I would do the bank route again, I just would not like it

You're right, I'm just perpetually on edge at all times. Just a terrible trait of mine hahah.

Will be spending the day building my new computer desk. Bought a Razer Imperator  mouse, Logitech g110 keyboard, and Creative Inspire T3130 speaker system. Later down the road I'm going to invest in a wheel so I can run iracing , and then a new headset. Gotta make the most of it, right? Haha.

Stage 4!!! I wasn't expecting to see an update when I looked in my inbox, so that is fantastic. I did notice the HAF 922 is gone off of the configurator tho...hopefully that isn't a sign of delay to come.

Stage 6, and Stage 7 update within an hour of each other.

I wasn't even expecting it to be out of Stage 5 until Friday at the latest, that's insane.
