Hello all, I come to you with I hope a simpler question. I was curious if there was a way to set the LED in my PC to a certain color besides red, blue, green, or white. Is there an program on my PC that I am supposed to use, or is it completely controlled through the remote. It also seems to reset to the default rotating RGB whenever I restart.

Thank you!

This is the best I can come up with. I just let my lights run rampant, but this thread came up a while ago. I wasn't able to confirm this because my remote wouldn't cooperate. Perhaps you'll have better luck!

Yeh, it's not terribly clear, is it? I'm thinking when you have your effect you like via the "Mode" button, press the "Lock" button to keep it. I'm guessing the "Set" button they refer to is the same as the "Mode" button. Give that a try.

Those steps may have been correct but not entirely, I had to also use the power button not sure why. If I set the mode and locked it, on power cycle it would revert. However if I do the following:

Remote Control
MODE -> LOCK -> POWER (OFF) --> POWER (ON)

* above POWER refers to remote power button not system power button

Once I perform those sequences on a power cycle the RGB settings hold.

Thanks, bud, but it was the OP wingrider on that original thread that brought it home. Great example of DS forum co-op!
