Review of Velox

I wanted to go on ahead and put up this review. Let me start off by saying this, this is NOT A FULL REVIEW. I will finish the review later.

I received my PC on July 18th which was a Monday. I opened the box and got to the beast. I opened up the panel and took a look inside. Everything looked great except for the 3TB hard drive. It was crooked and knocked out of place. I took out the hard drive and the entire cage out of the PC. I finally managed to get it back in. Turned the PC back on, and there it was I my storage devices. Woo hoo everything is fixed (not exactly). I was getting awful fps on all games. It turns out, my brother in law plugged the dvi into the mobo instead of the graphics card. Once I looked and saw that, I plugged it back in. I was getting better fps, but not great for my build. Turns out, Intel graphics were enabled and the GTX 1080 wasn't. Then, I was getting great fps! All of these being easy fixes I was on the road to great PC gaming! I stayed up all night Monday playing CSGO with friends and it was great. Then, another problem arose. When put under hardly any load, it would shut off. When it would reboot?, it said that t was Asus Surge Protection. It said it was used because if it wasn't, then the power supply would become unstable. I asked around and was told to check all motherboard connections and turn off surge protection. When I did so, it ran great for the rest of Tuesday night. Then, on Wednesday, it would just shut off randomly with no reason. It was almost like it would just restart or lose power for a split second. That night, I called up tech support and was helped by a very nice fellow named Charles. He told me to remove all ran and put it back in. Check all the main motherboard connections and check the graphics card connection. When he told me to rehook everything and see if that helped. Now, my PC wouldn't even show a display! He filed a RMA form for me and he told me to pack it up. On Thursday night, I received a shipping label, and I shipped it back on Friday. This is not a bad review! It just took a hard fall and it is 100% ups' fault. Not Digital Storms'! My PC will not arrive in Cali until the 29th so it will be a while before you get an update. I will update you all in the near future.

Also, is the 750 watt psu ok for my build? Gtx 1080 i7 6700k @4.8ghz 16gb ddr4.

Your hard drive that failed, was it an ssd?

DS would have to give you that list. Not sure if the list of fixes is a given or need to be asked for.    I've seen where some customers were told what was found and others had no idea.   I think it should be info given when repair is finished.

Call them and ask.   I personally would go crazy not knowing since troubleshooting has been my thing for decades.
