HI Zippo96.... That build looks good to me. The only thing I would change is the psu, from the 750watt B1, meaning Bronze rated, to the other for $34 more. It's Gold rated, fully modular wiring and double the warranty if its till the G1 or G2.
A 1440p monitor would usually mean a gtx 1080 for high to max gaming with some of the heavier shooters, but your games at med to high will play real nice. That's all I have. Good luck and let us know. |

If I went for the GTX 1080, I presume you'd recommend the (EVGA ACX 3.0)variant? Would I need to change anything else about the config? |

Yep, my pick is the EVGA ACX for the better board, cooling, 0rpm fans and customer support.
Nothing else needs changing. The psu is plenty. |
