Hey all! I have some questions regarding DS and configurations. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

1. I noticed the Lumos has tempered glass on multiple sides, is this also true for the Velox?

2. What PS would you all recommend. I don't plan on getting into SLI, (at least at the moment) but I don't want to feel pigeonholed for future upgrades either.More than likely I will be using the 1080Ti so 600W is the minimum for that card. Would it be worthwhile to go to the 750W EVGA SuperNOVA (750 G) (Fully Modular) or up to the 1000W EVGA SuperNOVA G2 (Fully Modular?

3. Which closed loop would you suggest? The DS Stage-2 or the Corsair Stage-2 variant.

4. For Internal Lighting which option is recommended? Ideally, I'd like to be able to control the color from both a remote and through software.

5. Fan upgrades. This is where I am getting really confused. Which fans are being used in the Lumos picture? Is that standard or an upgrade?

6. For cable management I was thinking of doing either red or white. I love the look of the red cables a lot, but I was thinking the white cables might do better under certain colors from the LEDs. Anyone have thoughts on colors and did you regret the color you chose?

Velox has window on right side.

I recommend the 750 watt G fully modular psu.   600 watt will suffice but I also like more headroom.

The Corsair H115i is what some of us recommend.

I like the 3 rd option, advanced remote led option.

The Lumos is the Corsair 570x and comes with sp120 led fans controlled by a led switch on front panel to change colors.   3 colors I believe but not 100%.

If you want more control of the fan colors pick the Corsair LL option, but I personally like what the case comes with.    Depends how much playing with colors you want.

Cable extension colors is up to you. They all look great and depends what theme you want.   I don’t have experience with them however.

Hope this helps.

Caveat: window is thin acrylic, not tempered glass.  Just in case that's relevant. Smile
