Hello everyone,
A few years ago I bought a Vanquish level 4 PC, it has been my main battle-rig for a few years. However, as stated, this was a few years ago. I believe at the time it came with a GTX 680 which doesn't cut it nowadays. I was planning on getting a 1080TI as I have plenty of money now. I have two main questions: 1) Would a 1080TI be able to fit inside the Vanquish case? 2) If not, I am planning on building a new PC and I would love some feedback on it. Thank you! Options 2 (If 1080TI cant fit): =============================== CPU: Intel - Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($309.99 @ SuperBiiz) CPU Cooler: Phanteks - PH-TC14PE_BL 78.1 CFM CPU Cooler ($299.99 @ Newegg Marketplace) Motherboard: Asus - MAXIMUS IX HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($206.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($147.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate - 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive ($105.49 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Xtreme Gaming Water cooling Video Card ($579.99 @ Amazon) Case: Thermaltake - Level 10 GT Snow Edition ATX Full Tower Case ($174.48 @ Amazon) Power Supply: EVGA - 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($49.89 @ OutletPC) Sound Card: Creative Labs - Sound Blaster Zx 24-bit 192 KHz Sound Card ($129.99 @ Newegg) Wired Network Adapter: Intel - E1G44HTBLK PCI-Express x4 10/100/1000 Mbps Network Adapter ($78.99 @ Amazon) Speakers: Klipsch - ProMedia 2.1 120W 2.1ch Speakers ($148.53 @ Amazon) Total: $2232.32 |

If the case you have is the Corsair Graphite Series 230T that I have (Vanquish 2 level 4) the 1080 should fit AFAIK.
But we'll wait for the experts to chime in. |

The gtx 1080 ti should fit just fine. Keep an eye on the power supply. A 600 watt, if that's your psu, should work, but being a few years old and the minimum recommend, if it crashes, rolls over, etc under load, you might need a new 600-750 watt psu.

the top pcie slot clears the hard drive cage, so no space limitations.
an sli config might limit longer graphics cards over 12" due to the hard drive cage being brought into play. the reference GTX 1080ti is only 10.5" long, so there should be no obstructions in any case. i don't know how long other vendor cards are, best to check on the particular card prior to purchase. |
