Hello

I'm trying to get a new system that will just need to play the new WOW exp. Will I need Level 3 Vanquish or will a lesser build work OK.

Hi gagepap... I don't play warcraft but the difference between the level 2 and 3 is mainly the cpu. The video cards are very close in performance but the Intel chip in the level 3 is better across the board.   Either work. I think the extra for level 3 is worth it.

WoW is more CPU dependent than GPU dependent. I'm that nerd that plays this game very competitively. It only uses two cores currently. I was lucky enough to get into Alpha the second week it came out and have been in Alpha and beta since the start and I didn't notice a difference in cpu usage.

With that in mind, the lvl 3 is definitely the choice here. The lvl 4 is the perfect WoW system to be completely honest with you. That 4690k loves MMO's, that GTX 970 will give you some good extra support in terms of visual performance, but you'll have a good enough system to stream, or watch netflix, or do literally whatever else you want while playing short of encoding video (which it can do).

If you have to pick, go level 3 even if it means you have to put off a little more to save up the extra $$. Trust me, it'll be worth it in the long run.
