Budget:
200-250

Expectations:
GTX 1050 ti 4GB VRAM

Usage:
Gaming on medium

Special Needs:
NA

Specifications:
AMD Phenom II X840, 8 GB RAM

I am scared that due to the processor bottlenecking could occur, should I just get a new system instead?

Thanks I did take a glance at the 3GB one once, I'll reconsider it.

cpu will prob bottleneck the 1060 depending on the game/settings.  if you don't want to hold it back at all a newer cpu/mobo combo w/8 GB more ram would be ideal.

If I kept the RAM to 8GB but changed the mobo/CPU would that do good? Since I can easily upgrade the RAM at a later stage.

8GB is the min i would recommend.  but yes, a cpu/mobo upgrade is what you should do, imo.  the Ryzen 5 2400G for $159 is a great budget pick to base a build around.  you also get a free high quality cpu heat sink with the purchase of AMD procs, so you don't have to worry about cpu cooling and that saves your budget for other things.

the 1060 over the 1050ti is about 75% performance upgrade compared to minimal cost increase.   it's a good price>performance upgrade.
