Been there ever since...11 weeks and counting.

Not complaining, although it is a bit painful, just thought I would throw my woes in the ring with the other two posts lol.

When OP ordered the Aventum 3 cases were on backorder. Expected ship dates were mid August IIRC... so, right about now things should start moving.

AVENTUM 3 is definitely a wait, it will be worth it. They will start shipping by the end of this month. Feel free to contact our team for updates.

Why would you wish that on anyone, I was just tryin to put things into perspective for these guys who have been waiting on their systems a little longer than expected or hoped.

Just informed the manufacturer of the chassis had yet another delay and they will not be in until the last of the month (updated from mid aug) so...it will be a solid 3 and a half months from order to fullfillment -if- there is not -another- delay...wow...just wow...

I had to wait almost a year before all the parts I wanted were in, for example even tho I ordered in oct I had to wait till march of the next year for the evga classified mobo to come out.

they only thing I can tell you is that don't let it go pass 6 months, if I had to do all over again that is the only thing I would change.

AT the end it was worth it for me.

so to paraphrase your own title back to you: You think you are waiting? try a year

Just to clarify something, I do not want people getting the wrong idea about Digital Storm. When I ordered there were some left, they ran out, but expected new ones in June or July, cant remember which, when the shipment arrived, after closer inspection the batch of 3rd party crafted chassis was rejected because they did not meet the standards held by DS...thus the super long delay I am currently experiencing...sometimes %^*T Happens...DS made the decision to maintain the standard level of quality set by the company and make their customers wait, AS opposed to getting the orders filled and handing out sub par equipment. I cannot be mad about that. If anything I am a bit annoyed at their chasses provider for attempting to offload a poor batch of stock rather than doing it right, or at least delaying once to begin with and getting it right before insulting DS with them. They put DS in a bind, I for one respect them, and patiently await my DS PC crafted with the highest standards in the industry!!! I just pray when they finally arrive, they got it right this time!!!

Well said. Better to get it right than test the shipping gods repeatedly with cross country shipping.

Ok, now I am officially about to lose it, the eta on backorders on the aventum cases moved back to end of september now...I am upset at this point. I ordered mid may...I saw and understood the reasoning for the original setback, then even the second one, but that would still have put me around mid july...if what I am seeing is correct i will be waiting easily til mid october at this point, unless I am missing something. That is 5 MONTHS...I am officially kinda pissed, even if it is the third party vendor, someone needs to be held accountable for this failure. I really want, and even need my computer asap, yet month after month goes by and I dont even get an email explaining, I only find out by logging on and looking for myself. This is too much and too far, what can be done to fix this fiasco?

Up to this point the updates applied across the board, so I expected the same this time too. I am soooo tired of waiting.

still have that 9-14 business days from the chassis arriving I assume...so...will be around 4 months once it finally arrives on my doorstep. I cannot get too excited yet.

I have been told two weeks multiple times, then friday the last two weeks now another two weeks...I wont hold my breath...the ship will sink or get hijacked by pirates...
