1. How ordering works
A systems engineer works out the configuration with the people who will use it. Purchasing gets the paperwork.
Ask for a quote
Describe the work, or send a saved configuration. A systems engineer replies with pricing in one business day for workstations, and a dated estimate for servers.
Check the itemized quote
Every part is listed, so purchasing sees what it pays for, and the quote lists the warranty terms. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Issue the purchase order
Send the PO against our quote, with your tax-exemption certificate if your organization has one.
We build and ship it
The ship date is estimated per configuration. Every system runs a 72-hour full-load burn-in before it ships.

Give us the order or quote number and how many you need. We price the same configuration and tell you which parts have changed since.
Academic and multi-system pricing
A 5% academic discount, and 5% off several identical systems. Who qualifies, and how the two combine, is confirmed on your quote.

4. Questions from purchasing offices
Do you work with university and government purchasing?
Yes. Purchase orders are welcome, and orders are tax-exempt for eligible organizations: send the exemption certificate with the PO.
Can you fill out our supplier form?
Yes. Send the form or the portal invitation with your request, and ask for our W-9 at the same time.
Our quote has expired. Can you price it again?
Yes. Send the quote number: we price the same configuration and tell you which parts have changed since. Each quote is valid for 30 days.
What lead time should we put on the requisition?
Lead time is estimated per configuration, never one figure for every system. The configurator shows the estimated ship date for each build.
Can a business order be returned?
