Hi All,

I currently have a small Ikea computer desk for gaming. I would like something larger. I've tried to Google computer desks but I am not really finding something that's nice. To me, at least.

I'd like at least 36" x 60" or larger. No L shape desks. No glass. Just simple wood. I also don't want to spend $600 but if it's going to be a good desk, I might consider it.

Would you mind posting some pics of what you are currently using and perhaps some suggestions?

Thanks!

Bestar Hampton Wood Home Office Computer Desk in Tuscany Brown

70.1 x 70.1 x 35.3 inches

I love this desk. I know you said no corner. Just wanted you to see how HUGE it is and very sturdy.

Have you looked at a Mayline? (MaylineOffice.com)

Don't know your visual preference but most of their desks $200+ go from 60-72 inches wide and usually a depth of 30-36... visually they don't look stunning in that range but they don't look flimsy either...

We had several of the Luminary, Napoli, Mira and the Sorrento at the last place I worked and they looked like they held up well after over 5 years.

Another thing to try is to search for Executive Desk instead of computer desk if you are looking for a heavy duty wood kind of look.

Also if you know visually what you want and you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself you could see if there are wood craftsmen in your area that build to order. We have several here that do wood working as a side job / hobby might take several months to get it made but it will be what you want...

I have this desk in 48". It is built like a tank. It is not real wood, but looks very nice. It also has a keyboard tray option for an extra cost. The tray is wide enough to handle a Logitech gaming keyboard and mouse. It works very well for me.

Honestly, I prefer looking at IKEA for computer tables under $600 here : http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/categories/departments/workspaces/20649/
