I bought the Vanquish II L4 with the Z97-P motherboard. Came with 8gb of memory and was wanting to upgrade to 16gb. Was wondering what the best way of doing it was. Do I add another 8gb in the b slots or do I purchase 2 8gb for the
a slots? Also, advise on some of the best ones to get would be helpful too. Thanks |

You can go either way, but if you are adding, I'd try to get the same type of memory that is installed already to match timings. The issues some people bring up with mismatched impedance really only comes into play when you start to push the speed (2400MHz+) and latency timings of the memory.
