I ordered my DS rig yesterday (Friday, May 16th) at about 5 PM - when should i expect a confirmation email/status emails?
im really excited about this thing, i havnt had a good computer since the 98 days lol (Windows ME was about as good as it got for me, im currently running a custom installed Media Center with a board not made for it)Dead

did you get the email stating "Thank you for shopping with Digital Storm Online.com, please take note of your order id," blah blah blah That should of come right after you ordered. Then I dont know if its because my computer was over 2500 or not, but there was a second email telling you to notify your bank of a large impending debit due to tight security sometimes this causes large online orders to go slow.

 
You start getting stage emails just after they process your order so stage 1.

Interesting... You should receive an order confirmation automatically. What email provider do you use?

What is the last two digits for your order number? I will have it re-sent after you added/checked your SPAM settings.

Shaba, grats on your purchase.  I don't work for them, but I can tell you they are closed on the weekend.  From the time I ordered mine, it was several days before I got the confirmation.  Also, depending on your build, its going to take a while to build it.
 
I for one learned to be patient while mine was being built.
 
Also, the best thing to do is to call them when they open on monday and speak with someone.  These boards are more for information and so users can chat up the hobby, its not really a good place to try and get a firm answer about your order.
 
Grats again on the purchase!
 
As an edit.... ya, I mis-spoke, I got the order confirmation immediatley, but it did not hit my credit card and I got no other emails for several days.  Sorry.  Also, Sun is right, you should have got that email about the credit thing.  I know I spent about an hour on the phone with my credit card company when I ordered just to finally find some one that told me it didnt matter how much was charged it would go through.  Why was that such a hard question for them?
 
And like Alex said, check your spam filter / junk mail box. I will shut up now.

I used (my dads email)@comcast.net The last two digits of my order number are: 42
Ive added all three to my contact list/approved email addresses
IMPORTANT-- I had my dad check and unfortuantly he mispelled the email address while ordering,
please send the email to [email protected] NOT [email protected]
(we do have the reciept and everything else confirming our order, its just the email thats mispelled) SORRY for that!

lol, yeah, the order process was rushed, and the person typing my dad's name mispelled it completely on accident, i just dont want whoever has the other email address (if anyone) to be like WTF!? lol
