Well I'm a total noob, I've been looking at some gaming keyboards and mouses and I'm wondering which ones are the best, I've been looking at some Razer ones and would like some other people's inputs...So far I was thinking on getting the Razer Lycosa. Im not sure for the mouse any input would be helpful! Thank you!

Razer lycosa is popular. the mirror se looked cool but i've heard some bad things about razer stuff not lasting. I have a nzxt avatar mouse and i love it. its slim yet decently functional and 2700dpi... Its worth looking into.
For keyboards i have the logetech g19. its expensive but really functional. and i got it for my birthday otherwise i wouldn't pay $200 for it. the screen is great but your better off getting a g15 because very few apps are in color (other than the bfbc2 app and hopefully bf3) |

The Logitech G500 mouse and Logitech G110 keyboards are my favorites.

G series keyboard from Logitech is a great recommendation.

Take a look at this site:
It has mucho details on the various types of mechanical key switches, especially the various flavors of Cherry MX (blue, brown, black, clear, etc.)
I'm looking at the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate because I want clicky keys for word processing, and I like the backlighting. However, Amazon has 100+ reviews of it and there are lovers and haters of some of the design choices.
Others will argue that a gaming-only keyboard shoud never be clicky, as "hovering" a keystroke is key in shooters.
I've been typing on a membrane keyboard for many years and long to get back to my IBM Model M roots. (There are Model M clones for sale out there, but they are less good for gaming. Pure typing though, you'll never go back to typing on mashed potatoes and a membrane form factor.)
But understand if the one you're looking at is clicky or membrane/rubber dome. Huge difference in ergonomics.
