Made some changes from the original build specs there.
Upgraded the PSU to the silverstone you see in the pic. Didnt like the reviews of the EVGA. Changed from at first not being able to fit the chipset cooling pipes to being able to fit the pipes. Thanks to alex and the team. Didnt do any fancy colours or add ons or inscriptions. As I told alex, I could care less how it looks, just care about how she performs. |

DS is still building mine... Should have it by end of month as I made a bunch of changes requiring special order parts...
Here's a link to my thread following my build (notice the original spec - budget doubled to make it to it's current setup!). 
There will be plenty of pics and a review once this sweet beast is in my hands!
Both setups are similar short of the case. The Aventum II is custom designed by DS whereas the HailStorm II uses a Corsair 900D. The placement of my rig wouldn't have worked well with viewing window on the right side - that was mainly why I went with the HailStorm II (I would have loved to have the Aventum II as it looks gorgeous!).

In OTHER good news, Alex just informed me that they managed all 12 threads on my processor to 4.7GHz with a full load of around 75'C on CPU cores under stress-test.
That aint bad at all!  |

Thats why I ordered such a high end system. By the time it gets to me it will be just about outdated. If I were to hazzard a guess though, maybe 4 days? But I guess it depends how many stops the freight has to make along the way. Gotta believe Chicago and Milwaukee are at least two stops. |
