I was not sure where to put this, because it is not an issue and it is not a review. Move it if you wish :).

I was just hoping people could all post their experiences with the "Stages" system of DSO. I haven't gotten my order yet, but I'm not complaining or anything, just a little curious. :) Here is mine as of now..

Enter Stage 1 - May 28th

Depends on whats wrong with mine and if they have a weekend team look after stage T computers or that team is just for RMAs. Im in no real hurry, im more curious to find out what is wrong with it. I might called them about it Monday, im considering since it seems like its gonna be there a while...i might order some extra stuff for it =P or see if i can complain enough that they will throw in something stupid for free..haha..Then again i probably shouldnt of mentioned that...haha!
 
Its more annoying then anything because before it hit Stage T i was thinking to myself...my first computer i ever had was great, the second was quirky as hell, and now my current one has been great, I see a pattern forming... this one is gonna be quirky as hell! Heck its already quirky and its not even finished yet!

According to an email from Kelly there was a delay in parts but it was put in line to be build on the 30th. 
 
Starting to think I'll be back in England (June 28th) before my rig gets there (APO shipping takes forever).

I laugh at myself about how accustomed I have become to "instant satisfaction" for stuff Ibuy. I mean I buy online for digital delivery so often that when something has to ship I get peeved! 

Reading all the order times makes the pit of my stomach do the little "ugh".  heheh I want the new system so badly that it makes you wish you could deal with rigs the same way you deal with software:  Download now for purchases made!  LOL
 
I'm not complaining! I am all for quality, as I would be more dissapointed getting it quick and having it bomb on me all the time.  I love what DSO is doing :-)  Ill be back for other system purchases I am sure.

yea if it takes too long like another week or so ill just say like..alright screw the 98GX2 and throw a 88Ultra in there and give me a deathadder mouse...that would equal out the price again....but then again..i dont really want a mouse..lol but i couldnt find anything else to fill in that 60 dollar gap...

There needs to be a limit though ya know. Im generally not too concerned because i assumed when I ordered it would probably take 3 weeks or more. But anything over a month + is unacceptable minus the computer having technical problems, mine does so i dont mind if its gonna go over a month really. But you still get the ants in the pants ya know? It gets rough near the end of waiting for something for a month after you slaped several grand for it.

 
My computer is getting very close to the time where i might just ask them to hold it till the GTX 280 comes out and put one of those in there! lol. I doubt theyd do that special request though.

When they advertise 5-10 days, a month is too long.  If you cannot hit your own advertised ship time, do not put it on the front page of your homepage.  Nothing against the company, but that is false advertising.

It seems DSO averages about 20 days to a month for order arrivals. That sucks. Oh well :P.

I think Stage 3 is just an urban legend.  I'm sure my build will jump from Stage 2 directly to 5 any minute now...any minute now...

It means your computer was a bad boy/girl and had a component that raised a red flag to one of the DSO Techs/QA guys
