I'd hate to have to fill that machine up with the oil prices today LOL!

Industrial applications for oil cooling has been around for some time. Mineral oil or other variations are reliable and efficient. Also, mineral oil is relatively inexpensive. Consider that baby oil is mineral oil with fragrance. This pc is hardly what I'd call ready for mainstream, but it's enticing for gadget inspired geeks like me. LOL! It's just got more limitations than it has to have. Perhaps if more companies try to do the same, competition will encourage better availability of hardware.

Dead toms hardware did a test using oil well over a year ago

3M Makes a non-conductive fluid that is perfect for cooling.  On the downside, its roughly $300 per gallon...lol
 
My brother in law was considering making a cheapo comp to play with in there..but alas, serveral obstacles and about $1200 in fluid cost just to play with isnt really that great of an idea...but it was an idea nontheless

Tell him to use mineral oil. It's very inexpensive and does a good job. The main point is to have a good pump and radiator.

Inexpensive way to go about thing, plus it's a unique approach at asthetics bwahaha.

That same computer has already lasted for a year and already several months with absolutely no long term side effects so far. Thumbs%20Down
