Believe it or not this is it:

It's centered in the middle of a black screen. If you can see rectangles inside any of the colored rectangles or if the grey rectangle has a color tint to it. Your monitor is misadjusted.

The latest version of stardock's really trimmed down from past versions -  it's very fast and I haven't noticed putting any sort of load on the system (of course, the DS is blazing fast!)

I love the weather docklet:

That stardock thing is sweet. Is it free?
Bill - aren't you worried about image persistence/burn-in? Does this happen with LCDs?

Digital Storm should offer a killer all black case with that orange graphic of the twister on the side of it as pictured above. That makes a hell of an impression at first glance.

If it comes to that, this is the sound you should pre-load as the windows start-up sound: http://67alecto.googlepages.com/lightingandthunder.mp3 (right click, save as).  This has been my startup sound since I built my p3 733 machine years ago.  It was a natural fit with a Digital Storm machine. Cool

Of course, since you can't change the Windows Vista startup sound, it would have to be on XP machines.

Sorry, Vista fans - MS felt the Vista startup sound was too big of a part of the Microsoft experience to allow us to change it :)

Actually there is a way to change Vista startup sound. Link here : http://neosmart.net/blog/2007/how-to-changing-the-windows-vista-startup-sound/
I've always disable window sound on all my PCs so i don't know if this will work or not. Try it at your own peril Big%20smile

hah!  I love it.  What a convoluted method to do something that should be as simple as selecting a file!

I'll be doing it tonight Clap
