Hey there was hoping someone could take a look at this rig I made up see what you think my budget will be around 4500$. My biggest concern is the cooling do you think I should get cooling for the video card as well because it's way cheaper if it's something I do not need. The gaming I do is mostly world of warcraft for the time being but I will probably move on to bigger games when i get a better PC.

yeah you changed the video card cause as everyone says it's not as good as 5870 and you changed the ram probably because little difference from the DS version not sure about why you added the lighting :P and I'll probably just get the acer lcd just because it would be nice to get it all together. but like i asked before how do you feel about liquid cooling for the video card?

the 5870 cause you would not notice the difference between it and the 5970 at that res, and because 2 x 5870 will beat 1 x 5970, and 3 x 5870 beats 2 x 5970.

yes the ram because it will make no difference.

the lighting caues you chose uv tubes and they will only glow with uv lights.

the dell is a much better monitor and at that res you want a 24", and I'm not sure but I think the acer is a tn panel, the dell is an ips panel, much better quality and picture.

but its upto you, just keep in mind that the monitor will not have the 3 year warranty that your pc has, only the pc has the warranty, all other parts have the default manufacturer warranty and odds are they will cost higher here.

LC is great and I love it, but its not a necessity, as a matter of fact let me show you the air version of that pc and look at the price difference, and your temps on air will be just fine:

Here you go Ticket# 379459 --- Price: $2372 (To see this build click here) Price after current promotion $2372

well LC always gives best temps but if your room temp is high then your temps are gonna be hi, cause its your room temp that is being blown in both cases, air cooler is using air at room temp and the LC is also using air that is room temp.

also if your room temp is high, that effects every part, specially the gpu.

what would your normal room temp be?

hmm 85c is a high room temp, that can be a problem. with air or LC that can be a problem, but if your pc is not under load during the day time when its 85f (I assume night time is a bit lower) then you are fine.

no, when under load the gpu gets hot, to cool it down you need to set the fan to run at high speed, this will make the fan very loud, you maybe able to get custom air coolers with quieter fans but its not worth it.
