Really happy with my new Lumus build that I special ordered with a 3-slot EVGA Geoforce 2080 FTW3 Ultra. One thing I have noticed in the first couple of days is that there is a bit of GPU sag on the outer end of the card. The card itself weighs 3.35 lbs. which seems like a good bit of weight to be supported by the brackets and the PCIe slot on the MB. I know that the Asus ROG Strix Z390-H has reinforced PCIe slots (Safeslot) which are supposed to better support higher end and heavier GPU cards but I am a bit worried about the GPU sag I am seeing.

I've done some research this evening and came across a couple of products designed to help with GPU sag. I've pasted links to them below. Was hoping to get some thoughts and/or feedback from other DS customers who have heavier GPU cards and if you have any experience with these products. Am I worried unnecessarily?

Wow, that is some sag.
Those brackets are good but you have to do some unscrewing of the card and they are fixed. IMHO they are better to prevent sag and since you are screwing it with the same (albeit longer) screws that hold the card, it seems to me that the load can be excessive. If you over tighten the screws then you run the risk of a stripped thread and now you have a new project.

I am currently using the following one:
It is very unobtrusive so air flow is barely disrupted and you can adjust it. Even better all you do is lift the card to the right height and tighten the little bracket on the rod holding it in place. The load is distributed to a different point than the base of the card as it is with the brackets. (Personally I think the brackets look very cool but.... Just a different way of doing it. Good luck.
