I think your system isnt bad at all.
For storage remember you could always use an external if you arent worried about performance for the non-gaming tasks. |

I have the bigfoot wireless card, and I don't think that it is all that much of an improvement. As to the hard drive, I have no doubt that you could use a 240GB SSD instead of the 480GB SSD and still fit all of your important games with room to spare.
Also, the 7970M and the 680M give you almost the exact same performance, so you could save about $300 by going with the 7970M. |

There's another topic in these forums about Nvidia vs. AMD support for Photoshop: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=18119#203363
If there isn't much of a gaming performance difference between the 680 and the 7970 and Adobe support for AMD is better, save yourself the $300. And I don't think you will see much of a difference between the 3720QM and the 3820QM. The 3820 does have an extra 2MB of L3 cache. From what I know of Intel mobile processors, the 3820 should be about 10% faster than the 3720.
