Received my DS machine 1 month ago. Still excited about it. No problems to report, all is going well.
I would love to show you guys some photos, but cant seem to figure out how to upload them. I already created a photobucket account, but I'm stuck after that. I am currently playing, Flight Simulator X, Lock On: Modern Air Combat, DCS BlackShark, Falcon 4, Falcon 4: Allied Force and Farcry (came with the system). This computer absolutely owns those games. It's like getting brand new games. I can finally play all of them maxed out! The only "con" I have is Windows Vista 32bit. It took some doing to get most of those games working with it. I am seriously thinking about downgrading to Windows XP. Other than that, I cant recommend DS highly enough. Excellent machine and service. No problems whatsoever. Just a note, I ordered one of the specials that came preconfigured. My next order (and there will be one) will be a custom made machine, with XP of course. Thanks |

you can upload them one by one here just hit "choose" and upload then copy and paste the link for "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"
but you would have to do them one by one. have you disabled uac in vista? xp can't even use all your ram. Edited by DST4ME - 11 Jan 2009 at 5:02pm |

I haven't oc'd it at all. I really don't see a need for it. I have a copy of XP, but since I don't have an "A" drive, things could get messy installing XP on a SATA drive. All of the HDD's that I have are of the IDE variety. I wouldn't know where to begin.
As far as old school games, man they are the best. I bought the machine to run my flight/naval/military sims. Anything else can just go in the PS3 or the 360. My system specs are in this post here: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=5005 Pics soon Thanks |

just looked at your specs and imo its sorta a no brainier to run 64 bit vista just for the simple fact your robbing your self of not being able to take full advantage of your new machine.

well a 32 bit OS can only adress up to 4gb of total system memory which your almost over and 2 a 64bit OS especially vista 64bit is MUCH faster then a 32bit OS (dont bother with 64 bit XP) |
