Im almost ready to order parts for my new build.
Question is, i will be getting the 920 and OC'ing it to about 3.4 at MAX. Will i notice a significant improvement in ovrall performance by going with 1600mhz RAM instead of 1333? Want to save money where I can of course

![]() Also, what is the "Dummy OC" on the EVGA x58 board? Is it a real OC? And if so, how much is it?

As I recall, the dummy overclock was was about 3.6 GHz on my 965XE (stock 3.2GHz proc). That puts it slightly higher than 10% OC.
