I just purchased a ready to ship model. After reading through, some of the stuff I do not understand. See Config ID 3610251
Questions - Will this be ready to run 1440p? I know the GPU can handle it but is the rest spec's for this? Will I be able to install a 10700K to this current set up? Thanks |

Should be fine for 1440p.
I run a 34" Alienware 1440p monitor from my Lumos which has an Intel i7 9700k and an RTX 2070 Super. Beautiful picture with no stutters flying DCS on max settings. I will defer to others regarding the 10700k cpu. |

Did a little research and not worth what you would have to spend to make the swap, as far as gained performance goes. You are better off sticking with what you have until it is so outdated you need another PC.

fwfdfireman is correct. There is no differnce between those two CPUs you would ever see even side by side.
