15E Backlit Keyboard Stuck On

Greetings everyone,
Any other DS Laptop owners dealt with this issue? The middle section seems to get stuck on. All functions and keystrokes work fine but the middle section won't turn off using the fn * combo. I even tried booting up into the BIOS to insure it wasn't just a software issue but still happens. Left and right side shut off as they should but middle will stay lit. Also tried removing and reconnecting both ribbon cables and no luck. Had the laptop since April and this is the first trouble I've had. I'm thinking faulty keyboard.

I'll be away from home for another week. If things get worse ill prob ring up DS when i get back and see if they can send me another keyboard. Just wondering if this is a common thing.
