Topic: 1680x1050 config help Posted: 03 Sep 2011 at 1:52pm |
Budget:3000 after all costs.
Expectations: Going to upgrade monitor within a 6-12 month period. So will be looking for something to support a higher res/sli and possible dual monitors. For right now im hoping a single 570 gpu will play my games maxed and then going sli in the future. Usage: Gaming - Rift on a 1680x1050 native res(high settings ofc). And standard usage. Will be playing games future mmorpgs and d3 when they come out. Special Needs: Standard low noise for gaming rigs...no space shuttles. I am not expecting complete silence just something bareable. My other concerns are should i go to a 460ti sli or the 570 2.5g on my 1680x1050 res for now and is the LC system overkill? Keep in mind i would not like to push the budget aka staying away from sli 570+ if possible. And yes i have looked at ode3 its a great system and probably what i should do, given the similarites, but im looking for some better upgrade potential. Thanks in advance for looking it over, hoping to get it in before the end of the labor day sale |

On a side note i was also hoping i could have them install the mesh side panel and use 4 of the upgraded 120mm fans on it, if that is at all possible?

The 600t in your config is the regular black one, you have to buy the mesh side grill extra, pay extra for the four fans to go on it.
we need to know what you plan on making the new res, so that we know what single gpu you should get now, since your current res is not really gonna be the building point cause its going to change. you do need to change teh psu, IMHO that build is not a good one at all for your money. for $2800 I can put you in sli 570 with everything else. this ticket number you posted 593054 does not have anything close to the specs you posted, can you post the ticked number for the specs you posted please. |

for that res here is what I suggest you get, but it does not have you bluray player:
Ticket Number: 593115 you get another $125 off of that price because of the current promo. now your own build, needs the 1050HX when you add that your price becomes $100 less then mine, but your performance is half mine, but you are not done, you still need to order the side mesh grill which cost more money. you don't want the upgrade fans here as they are very loud, use nice quiet fans if you do get the mesh grill. I took out the pointless stuff out of your build, this is what it looks like: Ticket Number: 593119 |
