How long does stage 1 usually take? It has been about 5 business days and it still says my computer is on stage 1

I really can't tell you how long but mine took a while. I went from the 10th of december until the 27th before I got another email with an update. I think they don't send updates too fast because I got 3 emails on the 27th and it was on stage 4. Still not got mine but hoping this week sometime.

Its crazy it said 5-10 business days when i bought it and its going on the 6th business day and havent even started the build. Im not mad i just wanna know why.

you need to give it a bit more time man. Those are estimates also weekend don't count in those estimates.

I understand they must be busy, but its going on to the 3rd week after my purchase going through and my pc is still on stage 1. When i call a woman answered and she was absolutely no help. And i sent a email and go no response. I would just like to know whats going on?

Imho, you're putting too much stock in what "stage" the machine is in. We've found lately that the "stage" emails are generally behind the actual progress of the machine.

From what I understand the machines are now shipped within the 10-15 business day (after payment processed) window.

So, even if your payment was processed last Monday (1/6) you'll be looking at getting it around the 28th. (For those not realizing that there is another holiday this month that doesn't count toward "Business Days.)

Hang in there, you're getting a really good machine.
