Can anyone recommend a reliable, relatively inexpensive 2.1 PC speaker set?.  I would like to keep the budget around $100 or less if possible.  I'm guessing a decent 5.1 set would be way more than I'm prepared to spend.  I have always used the cheap 2.0 speakers that come with bigbox desktops so I figure pretty much anything would be an improvement for me.

My friend has the same Logitech 2.1 DST offers in their configuration setup, and his computer sounds great, alot of bass, but can be controlled. A great part of it is the little controller on the cord. We edit audio on it for music, and for under $40 the sound is great. It's good for gaming, although he only plays Morrowind on it
