The question would be, what kind of monitor size would you have used for the 2 monitors?

Wouldn't a 30" monitor be cheaper and slightly similar? And although not as wide as 2 22"s.... well up to you aahah. What monitor brand were they?

Right now looking at an acer. I like 2 monitors so I can alt tab wow without closing it and lookup quests and whatnot or if Im waiting on arena. my friend hat a 30" and I think I would rather have 2 smaller ones as opposed to 1 big one.

I'm using two 22" WS monitors with an 8800 GTX doing exactly what you mentioned above, playing WOW on one screen and quest info on the other and have had no issues.

Im going to be running dual monitors with the same card as you. Im going to run a 22"(1680x1050) for my main apps like games n stuff and a 17"(1280x1024) for itunes/Firefox/aim/xfire Although im thinking about getting a 24" instead of a 22. Playing in 1920x1200 sounds nice. |

guys all of these cards have dual dvi out puts which will let you run your monitors just fine.
if you want to run in higher resolution then 1680 x 1050 then 4870x2 is made for higher resolutions or 2 nvidia GPU is the best choice this is what DS recommends.
