Does DS build any setups that run two OS's with one pc?

I am interested in having one tower run two separate sets of windows. Either with one keyboard/mouse or with two.

Is this a possibility or too difficult?

thanks!

Either I'm confused or you have gotten some bad info, so let me try and clarify.

Are you saying you want a pc to have 2 OS-s, so you can boot them at the same time? To play one game on each OS?

IF Yes then the answer is no most likely.

1. You can't boot 2 OS at the same time on one mobo.

2. Due to #1 you would need to stick 2 Pcs in one case, this can be doable but perhaps the worst way of going about it.

yes, I saw this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuJYMCbIbPk (youtube: "Linus tech tips 2 gaming rigs, 1 tower" if you don't want to click the link).
and was curious if DS could do something similar..

I figured if I am going to build a new pc with DS, this might be an interesting route. I did find some other options for linking two separate PCs and using just one keyboard and mouse... I might just have to go that route instead.

thanks for the reply!

Like I said that is the worst way if doing it.

DS might do it and I will highly recommend against doing it that way. You are basically sticking 2 pcs in one case, which is a terrible idea IMHO.

Have you tried virtual os instead?

I used to test OSs and thus run 5 OSs at the same time

Do you happen to have any recommendations for linking two PCs where I can quickly mouse between the two while gaming?

You basically are loading for example win 10 on win 7so both are running at the same time, or any combo, win10 inside win10.

You need a very strong system, I'm not sure how gaming quality will be (depends on your gpu and res) but this way you still have one system and free to add a second pc if vm (virtual machine) does not do it for you.

Sorry, trying to keep up on my phone was a pain. No, I have not tried that. I am planning on building a pretty strong pc next year, was thinking SLI as well.

I'll start reading up on the virtual machine route! thank ya!
