Hi, I am looking to order a DS system before the Black Friday promo ends and I could use some advice. I am looking for a new desktop pc in the $2000-2500 range tops, not including the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I will be using it for gaming, watching/burning movies, some light video editing, maybe some light graphics, listening to music, etc. I would like a system that will be reliable, perform well, is user friendly, be easy to upgrade/repair later on, and be fine in a normal dusty environment. I also want it to have Bluetooth connectivity. I have a cable modem and dual band wireless router already. My gaming genres are usually shooters, or flying/driving. I noticed the MOBO has surround sound built in and should work with a surround speaker system. So, is my sound card really necessary? Also, any suggestions on monitors, keyboards, or mice? Your build looks good. From what i heard the only reason to use a sound card is if you are an audiophile. The onboard should be fine. But its up to you.

We were told internal lighting doesn't fit the 300r case. If thats true then use the 500r case. Its a better case with better cooling and front white LED fans.
Good luck. ![]() |
