Budget:
I'm hoping to hit as close to 2000$ as possible, I do have some more but I'm spending that on monitor, mouse, and keyboard.

Expectations:
Able to support a high-res monitor(but only one), blu-ray movies, the usual gaming, and multitasking

Usage:
Mostly multitasking and gaming, but will watch blu-ray movies on occasion.

Special Needs:
None

Saved Ticket #: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=464346 and http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=464405. The first is basically the mid-range vertical cooling black ops PC, and the second is one that I have modified slightly from a post on this forum that I thought may work. I would appreciate somebody telling me which one I should go with, and maybe offer some advice on what to change.

Go with the second, hands down. Better cheaper case, better CPU cooler, and a lot more GPU power.

Don't forget the free t-shirt.

Thanks. Since there doesn't seem to be anything to improve, (which is awesome) how much do you think I should spend on a monitor to get the best out of the PC? $300-$500?

Unfortunately I'm fairly monitor stupid. Some others could give you some suggestions.

Alright, I'm about to pull the trigger on buying the second one, just making sure one last time nobody thinks that I should switch something out. (I'm a very cautious person, I've been thinking and rethinking buying for a very long time )

I don't know as much as several of the forum goers here, but if I were dealing with your budget, my build would likely be very similar to the 2nd one as well. Strong

to be able to play blu ray you need to have a hdcp supported monitor. so keep that in mind. corect me if im wrong but I belive if it has hdmi it most likely supports it.

The monitor I was looking at does support HDCP, but thanks for the heads-up, I wouldn't have checked for that otherwise.

Thanks for the help, everybody! I've ordered, and will post a review sometime in the future.

By the way, do I get that foam stuff when I order just ground shipping and not ground with box?
