what mobo will you be running it on?

It will be faster but if you notice any speed it won't be much, if you notice any at all.

no it won't be cause rampage support upto 1800MHz oced.

none of the i7 mobos I have seen support 2000MHz ram yet

Go figure.. By the time they make a mb that supports 2000mhz they will have 2200 mhz ram lol..

Ya I wanted to go with the 2000MHz myself, one of the reasons I wanted to wait for i7 was the loss of FSB and thus being able to use the full speed of ram.

OH well, I got till Feb to get lucky and have a mobo come out that does support it, altho its more mental then practical, since I probably won't even notice the difference in speed between 1600 and 2000.

I would of waited alittle bit longer for the gtx 295 and stuff, but this dell has got to go..
