Hi All,

I'm in the process of upgrading my DS HAF 932 from 2009 and need some help.  To the build below, I just added a Corsair force GS 240gb SSD.  I also removed the 6gb Mushkin and added 12gb of Corsair Dominator with DHX Pro 1600ram.  (not to get off topic, but only 8gb of the 12 shows up??)

I need help with selecting a solid video card that will take me forward for another 2-3 years.  I only have a 20" running at 1680x1050 but I do game a lot.  Not sure I would go SLI this time, so the card would have to stand on its own (if possible)

I'm not really sure what the latest and greatest is and what is compatible with x58 chipset, but I know y'all do!
Here is my build, take a look and let me know your thoughts!

Hi regnav...   Depending on your budget the gtx 680 for about $500 or the gtx 670 for about $400, give or take, will play great with that monitor's resolution.    They mention Pcie 3.0 but they are backward compatable to your mobo's Pcie2.0 with no performance hit at all.

I would go gtx670, almost the same performance as 680 for less.

Good luck.

Edit ... Win7 Basic has a limit of 8gb ram...   Win7 Premium has 16gb limit. Not sure if that helps.

Thanks bprat - I was leaning on those two card but wasnt sure they would work with x58 since it has PCIE 2.0 - Thanks for clearing up.

I have Win 7 Ultimate - which has a 192gb limit I believe. So not sure why it would only show 8 out of 12gb.  I guess I will run it by support.
