When I boot the fans spin just a little then turn off.

I'm going to assume they will turn on when the system heats up?

Hockey where are you?

Lol... Yup, they spin up fans as you do something that warms up the GPU.    It’s done to appease folks that are annoyed easily by perceived fan noise, but I prefer my video card be kept as cool as possible, so I do not use the default fan program.     You can download the EVGA Precision X1 program and control your GPU fans to run whenever you want, at whatever speeds you wish.    If you got a card model that has lights, you may be able to control them using Precision X1 as well.

Yup.   MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision X1 are both GPU Overclocking programs that will work with most brands NVidia GTX and RTX GPU’s.    It’s personal preference which program you like... If your GPU is EVGA branded, Precision X1 will probably have more working features on your EVGA card.   Same would go for an MSI branded card using MSI Afterburner.    I prefer the EVGA program.    DS used to use the MSI program to set up the rigs.
