long shot on anyone who has received their build seeing this post.. I ordered a 2080 ti build and my concern is growing that they're just going to throw a cheap blower model into my pc. anyone still around who has ordered a 2080 ti? what did they put in your build? they use the asus blower model as the example for the 2080 ti option.

Blower models by nature are not bad, they are efficient at blowing the hot air outside of the chassis vs. blowing it inside.

Your computer build has a ASUS Dual Geforce RTX 2080 Ti scanned out to it its the only model we have currently in stock that is not blower.

I got the asus blower one! However no issues what so ever! Little noisy but i think it depends on what you order as a setup on what you will get via gpu being a blower or not! My gpu runs about 65-69* in almost everygame and idles about 40-42*! Blower fan has not yet gone past 55% which is quiet good for a blower!

interesting to hear from someone who leaned into their investment like I did. Might I ask your config ID? Just curious. Mine is 3191392. Also, what kind of games do you run on your system? I suppose my opinion on blowers may have been a bit aggressive, but the bad things I'd heard were enough to cause concern

I was also concerned about getting a blower card.   Waiting for my PC for so long gave me too much time to read and catch up/obsess overall all the components my pc might get.

I ended up getting the PNY 2070 super blower in my Lynx 4. At first it was running at 80-83c while gaming. I installed MSI afterburner and played with the fan curve a bit. Now it runs at about 65-70c while gaming and the fan hasn't gone over 60%. Im quite please with it now and my initial concerns are gone. However, if you do crank the fan up too 100% it does sound like a vacuum cleaner.   Hopefully it never has to go that high.
