So im in the market for a new pc. Been lurking these forums all week and im getting close to pulling the trigger. Like the subject says i have a $2200 budget give or take a little and want to game on a 24" monitor @1920x1080. $2200 is for the comp only not including monitor which i have yet to buy.

I dont really want to mess with any upgrades for at least a year or two after purchase so maximizing it now is a priority. As for games i like to play WoW and in the future will definately be playing D3. I have been using a crappy dell laptop for the past 3 years so im open to any game suggestions that i may have missed out on.

This comp will be used for gaming, movie watching, and id like to hook a console up to the monitor.Sorry about the long winded post, just trying to provide as much info as possible!

ram speed will make no difference in your games at 1900 x 1200 so might as well go with 1333MHz if you are not gonna see any performance gain.

you can check our hardware section for monitor suggestions, there are plenty in there

wow does not use sli, so if all the other games you play don't support sli, then drop one of the 275s, and if that is the case let me know we have to make one more change to the config.

also do you see yourself going tri sli or with a 30" monitor in the next 3 years?

DST4ME, thanks for the reply. While i was only playing wow on my old laptop, this was due to its low system requirements. I definately would like to play other games especially with the new comp so im all for the sli. I do not see myself going tri sli or a bigger monitor in the next 3 years. Im hoping this system will be good "as is" for at least 2 years allowing  me to play what i want. I noticed you had no additional cpu cooling in your build, was this by design?

well as I mentioned wow does not use sli, so you will be using only one gpu with wow. but if you play other games that do use sli then stick with the dual sli 275.

if you are not going to go with a bigger monitor, then dual sli is all you need, therefor we can drop your psu to a 750w if you like to save some more money:

Here you go Ticket# 300434 --- Price: $2396 (To see this build click here) Price after current promotion $2196

so now you have the choice, if you see yourself upgrading to tri sli you will need the 1000w psu, if not then the above system with 750w psu is all you need

@cgib, I made a mistake and left the cpu cooling out, the config was edited to be corrected you can look at it now.

@e.fruman, you got a ticket number for that build? no matter what I do, I can't get your config to come to $2300, it comes out to $2393

Looks good and right at my price point. Only remaining question, you have the cpu overclocked and it says "requires air cooling upgrade". I assume i would add the air stage 2 that e.fruman used in his build? Yours had the standard heat-sink and fan.
