Now, I'm not the most knowing when it comes to PC's, not even close, but are you fixed on getting an AMD? They may be cheaper, but they lack the performance of the Intels. Someone else can probably give you technical performance reasons.

Also, I wouldn't bother with that liquid cooling. Most here will tell you it's not much better than the Corsair A70 air cooling, and it costs $40 more. If you really want liquid cooling for your rig, go for Digital Storm's LC options (most will tell you Stage 4 is the best route for true LC'ng)

Again, I'm not as in the know with the hardware for rigs, but I'm just giving my 2 cents from what I've gathered on the boards. DST will pop in here and help you out soon I'm sure.

Edit- I know DST will ask, so what resolution do you intend on using? It might help everyone's suggestions knowing this.

Thanks for the quick reply! Im almost fixed on getting an AMD because they are right around my price range, but if i could find an intel equivalent or better for around the same price I would look into it.

I STRONGLY suggest going with a intel 2600K. a 320 model intel SSD.

I know it goes over your budget but this is what a good pc would be that should last you a while to come.

Hi OpticRampage,

The ODE-3 is the same price as what you are thinking about but it beats your system in most categories. Better SSD, better video cards, better processor speed and better processor cooling. Your system does have a better power supply and a better hard drive but over all the ODE-3 would be my choice.

Do you think the ODE(3) would play most if not all games on 60+ fps?

sli 570 will give you average of 60 fps in most games yes and it will do better then cf 6950.

what mobo does not support sli that you are talking about? ode 3's mobo does support sli? ode 3 beats your amd condfig from every aspect, other then psu.

Well we are not looking at that since ode 3 for less price will beat it in every way, so I'm not sure why you would want to pay more and get less performance.
