I just bought my rig on Monday, after a small hiccup with an incompatibility my order was processed on Tuesday around 11. Then I got notice that Wednesday at 11 my rig was entering stage 5. Wow!
Is it normal for that kind of speed through the initial stages?

Here is my spec. If mine does not ship this week I am not going to be happy. It takes 5 business days to get to the east coast and if I have to wait till next week that will be two weeks before I get it, that's just way to long.

From what I've seen, it's from 10-13 business days normally from order date (assuming everything is in stock). I think mine was 10 business days total, but I live one state away. Figure they take 3 whole business days just testing it after it is assembled completely.
Once you've ordered your machine, it's really hard to wait, though. ![]() If you are ever wondering about the status, just give them a call. They will tell you whats going on. |

Why do they blame me for all their little failings? They use my name as if I spent my entire day sitting on their shoulders, forcing them to commit acts they would otherwise find repulsive - Lucifer

To be honest, in regards to times. I understand that we all can't wait for our new units to come to their homes but, if we are having problems, we will hold orders back.
We don't promise or guarantee any shipment date. We don't want to rush units and sacrifice quality over speed.
There can be many reasons why a unit may stay back longer than usual:
1. Shortages in the market for a component
2. Issues with performance of the machine, which may require a re-build
3. Configuration changes
In the end, we do keep our eyes on units that do stay back longer than usual. Our production supervisor checks with our staff in the morning and evening with backlogs.

Well I talked to Sarah today and even though mine is in Stage 5 Phase 2, they are just now installing the Operating System. I had hoped that mine would ship tomorrow but that's not going to happen. It might ship next week, that means I won't get it until at least the first or second week of March. Not sure how you stress test without an operating system but I guess that's why I don't build my own. The 72 hour burn in is more like the one week burn in, dang it.
I guess i need to go and find something else to do with my time, since the fedex or ups truck won't be by my house for quite some time. Patiently waiting in Georgia, E |

Stage 5 is a combination of testing and operating system install. Its all done in that stage. We test components before it goes to stage 5, then we work on testing memory, and installing the os, and stress testing everything from the operating system as well. Thats why that seems a bit strange.

I hear you, it's just the fact that it will take almost a month to get it.
Still patiently waiting in Georgia, E |
