I already posted something a while ago about this but I did some research and narrowed my choices down.  I will have SLI 8800s in my rig so I want to be able to take advantage of them.

So... which of these would probably be the best?  I want to stay away from the new Dell 2407WFP-HC because of the horrible ghosting issues it has.  I have narrowed it down to the three I have read are the best and don't have the ghosting issues the Dell has.

Out of those, I would pick the NEC. All of them are overpriced.

You should really consider getting a 28" since 24" are terrible imo =\

Cheaper both on purchase and in long run... better tech specs... looks nicer... bigger screen.

I have a 2405 and while the response rate is a little slower (12ms), I didn't have any ghosting..  I've heard some people say that the ghosting issue on the 2407 is bogus, but I've never done my own research on it.  I've still got my 2405 on one machine and my Samsung 305T on my DS.  If you can afford a 30" screen, I'd recommend it for 8800 GTX SLI.

You sure you want such a big monitor? I just bought the 22" Samsung and its already to big for some things. Its great for gaming, no doubt. But for reading, the 22" I have to turn my head back and forth to see all the text. I kinda wish now I had just gotten a 20" square. Oh well, just wanted to give you something to think about.

Buying my 24" screen was the best move I ever made! I was comming from a 19" 4:3 monitor and what a great improvement! At first I had that issue srl50, but I had room on my desk to move it back a bit, after that it was perfect. I honestly thought a 24" widescreen would be odd as a computer monitor, but I would never go back! Big%20smile
