Very nice, just a couple small suggestions.
For the secondary HDD go with the 1TB WD Caviar Black. It's the best HDD that DS offers in terms of speed, performance, reliability and warranty. All that awesome power you would do very well with a Stage 2 OC on the CPU. The Noctua can more then handle it, just be sure to ask for a vcore below 1.4v. Also be sure to ask DS to install the option 200mm top case fan. This is not a performance recommendation but I personally recommend one of the Logitech G series keyboards over the Razer. I know DS does not sell them so it would be a separate purchase. I have the G15 and the G19 would be even better. The programmable buttons and LCD screen are very useful. Honestly, you can just overclock to 4.5GHz-4.8Ghz since you have a Deluxe Motherboard and you don't really need a 6 core processor.

also DS knows this already but make sure you request the Noctua D14 se2011 version as this is the one needed to be used for the 3930k chip.. I have it and my CPU never exceeds 77c which is awesome..

Unfortunetly the OP does have to go with the X79 platform. The P67/Z68 platform can not handle x3 SLI properly due to a lack of PCI lanes. The various MOBOs for the platform have enough PCI slots but there is a lack of data lanes on the MOBO that will cause issues.
The only MOBO that even advertises, albeit falsely, proper x8 or better on all slots for a x3 set up is the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme. On the MOBO the 1st and 3rd PCI-3 slots connect directly PCI-e controller connected to the CPU. The 2nd anf 4th slots are connected to the MOBO chipset which also handles all other functions for the mobo including the various back I/O panel connections like some of the USB ports. So what ends up happening is the cards on the 2nd and 4th slot ed up running at x4. Even if you end up not using anything else that would reduce the second and third cards to x4 they are still stuck behind the bottleneck of the MOBO chipset. Your GPUs should always be on the main PCI-e controller tied to the CPU. With the ASUS IV Extreme your 2nd and 3rd card (which can only be installed on the 2nd and 4th slots) are connected to the MOBO chipset, which then has to communicate with the CPU controller, impacting your performance. The ASUS IV Extreme is a great board if you are only running x2 SLI as then you can use only the 1st and 3rd PCI-e slots connected to the CPU but the OP's resolution of 2500x1600 requires at least a x3 SLI set up. Not even the 7970 can max out the games the OP listed at that resolution in only a x2 set up and still maintain playable frame rates. With all that said, the OP needs the X79 platform which only uses the two different 6 core CPUs from Intel. Edited by jmaster299 - 29 Jan 2012 at 10:47am |

The HAF X fans are fantastic. Just ask for the second optional top fan that I mentioned. The only fans I hear from my system are my A70 and my GPU. That's the benefit of a case like the HAF X that uses large fans. The have great airflow but don't sound like you are in a wind tunnel because they don't have to spin as fast as small fans.

Go with tri sli 570 2.5GB you won't see any difference between it and tri sli 580 3GB.
for that kind of perfomrance, I would wait till april and see what the 680 can do. Edited by DST4ME - 29 Jan 2012 at 2:34pm |

Hi DST4ME, his resolution is 2550 x 1600. Wouldn't the 580 3Gb have an edge in performance at this resolution? Maybe not worth the money but still some better performance? Or is the problem that it is TRI-SLI? Frank |

As we have mentioned the 570 and 580 are very few fps apart so the extra vram is for aa settings, at 2.5GB of vram should have more then enough for 2560 x 1600, below is not his res but you get an idea of tri sli 570 vs tri sli 580, tho this one was done with the 1.2gb and 1.5gb version:
