yeah, i seen that a little while ago, but it was actually put to use doing something else, it was taking 3D models from WoW and "Printing" them, and posting them to their owners, like a little sculpture.

Amazing and pretty video! Its really nice and useful, thanks for sharing with us. I think this video gives a simple visual scanner that can identify moving parts, such as the separate parts of a wrench and there may be some CAD editing done in there.
