I was wondering if any of you are currently using or have used a 3D Vision Surround system - other than CES (still wiping drool off my chin - love those pictures - but where are the models)?
I am currently planning my next rig now - for May Ordering - and thinking of moving into the 3D scene. A lot of reviews out there are really talking up the 3D Vision system, whether single panel or surround. I tend to take the reviews with a grain of salt and much prefer to see them in action or get some other personnel experiences before purchasing. Any personal experiences with the 3D Vision system would be much appreciated. Primary uses for the rig will work and play. Play being gaming (MMOs and FPSs) and movies. My current thoughts on a build: 484223 Processor: Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz (Unlocked CPU for Extreme Overclocking) (Quad Core) Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe (Intel P67 Chipset) (Features USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s) System Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Digital Storm Certified Performance Series (Highly Recommended) (Hand Tested) Power Supply: 1000W Corsair (Dual/Triple/Quad SLI Compatible) Optical Drive 1: Blu-Ray Player/DVD Player (Play Blu-Ray and Play DVDs) Optical Drive 2: DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 24x / CD-Writer 48x) Video Card: 2x SLI Dual (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 1.2GB (Includes PhysX Technology) <---- may drop to the 560 ti??? Extreme Cooling: AIR: Stage 1: Noctua NH-U12P SE Dual 120mm Fans High Performance Cooler Display: 3x Triple Asus 3D Panels 23 inch VG236H (NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround Setup + 1x 3D Glasses) |

I think 2 gtx 570 might not be enough for good performance on 3 monitors with 3d IMHO

get the displays from somewhere else they charge extra shipping and you can get better deals elsewhere. for the blu ray player make sure your monitors are hdcp certified (most hdmi monitors are) and for tri monitor 2d 2x570 would barley be enough but with 3d you will definately need 2x580 to game in 3d on 3 monitors in 1080p
