Considering most of us are making huge upgrades and spending a good amount of money on it all, we might as well compare the old to the new.

New rig (well it was my new rig till I had to send it back)

Are scores different in XP than in Vista?  I assume XP will score higher...
 
I get around 16,500 in Vista with my rig.

With my current rig I'm getting 14,332 on 3Dmark 05.

I dont' understand those ratings.  Someone help me understand them please.  Is higher better?

Yeah, the bigger the better.
 
Nomec - For the most part, XP does score better than Vista.  However, I haven't tested it with the new beta drivers..  16,500 in Vista is really good, though.
 
I wish they'd come out with a 64 bit version of 3Dmark..
