Budget:
$15k

Expectations:
Good Performance/Watts, Good with cooling & airflow, as silent as possible, robust.

Usage:
Scientific application, no games, used to run multiple small simulations at once, not one big one, so parallelization is not the major factor... The CPU should be able to handle loading unloading of GPUS as well as decent overhead.

Specifications:
I put something together for a start, but looking for expert advice

For the money you’re laying out and an extreme 4 x sli setup, I would strongly suggest you call DS and talk to one of their productivity experts.    On the forums we’re primarily gamers with 2x sli experience . Your needs would be a guess on my part .   Can’t talk for everyone.

They do ship to Germany.

Your best bet would be to email them or, as bprat suggested, give them a call directly.

Currently we are enjoying a three day weekend here in the US as Monday is a holiday. They will reopen at 9AM Tuesday the 4th. (That's 1800 CEST, Tuesday).

Those sound like some pretty decent specs that you're going to be working with. With a 15k budget, I don't see getting any of that included within your system and problem, you actually can get something a bit heavier with that budget. What type of GPU were you thinking of obtaining?
