Interesting.. though I really don't want to know the price.

OMG how do the top 3 cards even BREATHE??? this mobo will kill 3 of your 4 GPU's...OK maybe not but can someone explain to me short of liquid cooling how 3 of the cards are supposed to cool themselves if their intake fans are blocked by the the backplate of subsequent gpus.

the fans are not blocked, there is a quarter inch or a little more between the cards when you stick them next to eachother.

I got 4 x 295, but they are LCed.

I do think that 3 cards will be on the warm side for sure at tri sli, warmer then we would like them to be, at quad sli with 285, I don't even want to know what the temps will be.

I think there might be a bottle neck issue somewhere and the 4th one will not make a huge difference.

I'm folding so there is no sli for me but no you can't hexa sli yet

first off, look at the power connections, and think of a power supply that could do that,  2nd this is really old news, Kingpin used this to set a bunch of records, and that resulted in knocking me down a few world points. lol
for the REG Joe, this makes no sense at all.

These are made for extreme overclocking, LN2, and tons of voltage, unlike most EVGA cards these have adjustable VRMs, like ATI cards, so you actually OC them, a lot. lol   But this is for setting records not gaming..

If you could max out all 4 285's with a 6Ghz i7 you would be needing around  3,000 watts of power... Smile

to make it work/look decent you need a case that holds two power supplies. Then you can buy, or make a jumper octopus connection, so that both power supplies start up/shut down at the same time. It is very easy.
